Why this exists
Every World Cup, the kits are half the conversation. Who got the best one? Whose away shirt is criminally underrated? Why does that third kit look like a hotel carpet?
Footy Kits Battle is a fast, visual way to vote on World Cup 2026 kits without signing up, downloading an app, or scrolling through 47 Reddit threads. Swipe, vote, share your top 5, and — if you fall in love with a shirt — find the best place to buy it in two taps.
Who runs Footy Kits Battle
Footy Kits Battle is run by Jake, a 16-year-old football fan based in the United Kingdom. There's no team, no agency, no parent company — just one person writing about kits, building tools that aren't already out there, and cross-checking fixtures from his bedroom.
Editorial decisions, voting algorithms (the Elo-style Kit Clash ratings), the wall chart, the kit tracker and every blog post are all written here. Where I've borrowed someone else's reporting for facts (transfer windows, kit reveal dates, qualifying results), I credit them inline.

What this site doesn't do
- 🚫 No FIFA affiliation — this is an independent fan project
- 🚫 No player photos — original colour-block kit art only
- 🚫 No betting, gambling or match predictions
- 🚫 No accounts, no email harvesting, no ad trackers
- 🚫 No live scores — plenty of apps do that better
Kit Clash votes are stored locally on your device. A separate aggregated global leaderboard runs on an opt-in basis and never stores personal data.
Editorial standards
Independent. No brand or retailer pays to be included, ranked higher, or featured in a collection. Every kit that exists is eligible for every ranking.
Sourced. Fixture data, kit release dates and squad information are cross-checked against the official FIFA 2026 World Cup schedule and reputable football media (e.g. FootyHeadlines, SoccerBible, national FAs, manufacturer press releases). If we get something wrong, shout and we'll fix it.
Voice. Opinion pieces are clearly labelled and signed. Data-driven pages (leaderboards, tracker, groups, wall chart) are kept separate from commentary so you always know what you're reading.
Updates. Team pages, kit tracker and fixtures are reviewed weekly in the run-up to the tournament and daily once matches begin on 11 June 2026.
Affiliate disclosure — how Footy Kits Battle makes money
Footy Kits Battle is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.co.uk. When you click a “Shop on Amazon”, “Buy kit” or similar button on this site and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
This does not influence our rankings or editorial coverage. We rank the kits we think are best; we recommend the gear we'd buy ourselves; and we link to Amazon search results (not hand-picked ASINs) so you can compare sellers, sizes and prices before deciding.
Prices, stock levels and product details are set by Amazon and can change without notice. Always confirm the price and seller on Amazon before checking out.
