Footy Kits Battle is run by Jake (16, United Kingdom). The site is funded by affiliate commissions on retailer links, plus the eventual addition of programmatic display advertising once traffic supports it. There are no sponsored posts, no paid placements in rankings, and no brand partnerships baked into editorial.

Footy Kits Battle is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to amazon.co.uk.
- Affiliate tag:
footykitsbattle-21— appears on every outbound Amazon link. - What we earn: a small percentage commission on qualifying purchases. Commission rates vary by category and are set by Amazon.
- What you pay: nothing extra. Prices on Amazon are identical whether you arrive via us or directly.
- What we receive: aggregate commission reports only — Amazon never shares your purchases or personal information with us.
- Link marking: all Amazon links on the site carry

Pending: Sovrn Commerce auto-affiliate
We applied to Sovrn Commerce on 17 April 2026 and were declined on 20 April 2026 due to site age (Sovrn requires four months of content). We intend to re-apply between 15 June and 15 July 2026 once that requirement is met.
When Sovrn is re-enabled, outbound links to retailers other than Amazon (Classic Football Shirts, Sports Direct, Nike.com, Adidas.com, etc.) will be rewritten at click-time so we earn a small commission on those clicks too — at no cost to you. Amazon links remain handled by Amazon Associates directly so the footykitsbattle-21 tag is preserved.
Sovrn is currently disabled on this site — the integration script does not load. This page will be updated the same day it is re-enabled.
Editorial independence
Affiliate revenue does not influence rankings, kit reviews, tier-list positions, or which teams / shirts get featured. Concretely:
- No retailer or kit manufacturer pays for inclusion or for higher placement.
- Where we link to Amazon search results rather than a specific ASIN, it's so you can compare sellers, sizes and prices before deciding — not so we can avoid a less-profitable product.
- Comparisons between Amazon, Classic Football Shirts and Sports Direct show the actual retailer trade-offs (price, return policy, stock).
- Kit Clash, Tier List, Top 5 and Leaderboard are all driven by user votes — affiliate revenue cannot tilt them.
How to opt out of affiliate links
Every product mentioned on the site is also reachable by typing the product name into the retailer's search box directly. Doing so doesn't cost you anything and means we earn no commission on that visit. Use whichever you prefer — both are fine with us.
