Kit of the Day #31: Senegal — The Lions of Teranga Stay Dangerous

Africa’s most consistent World Cup team

Senegal are at their fourth World Cup and second in a row. They are the African Cup of Nations holders going into 2026 and the squad has matured into a genuinely scary tournament team.

The design

White Puma home base with green, yellow and red detailing weaving across the chest in a confident, modern layout. The flag colours have never been used this cleanly on a Senegal shirt before. Subtle lion-of-Teranga motif on the back of the neck.

Who to watch

Sadio Mane still the heartbeat at 33, Ismaila Sarr providing the speed on the wing, and Kalidou Koulibaly anchoring the back four. Add Pape Matar Sarr and Iliman Ndiaye, and you have a squad with elite quality at every line.

Why you should care

Group I alongside France, Norway and an intercontinental playoff winner is the group of death. Senegal are absolutely capable of finishing top. The shirt has heritage weight and is one of the most underrated designs of the cycle.
